About

ABOUT

Every day, Michigan’s hospitals and health systems are caring for patients, supporting families, and strengthening the communities they serve. This site shares the innovations, everyday acts of compassion, and the people behind the care, because Michigan’s hospitals are always caring, always advancing.
A doctor speaks to a group of people in a waiting area. A girl holding flowers sits beside a woman, while others, including a man in a wheelchair, listen attentively. The atmosphere appears calm and friendly.

This campaign is brought to you by the Michigan Health & Hospital Association (MHA), the statewide leader representing all community hospitals in Michigan.

Established in 1919, the MHA advocates for its member hospitals and health systems in the legislative and regulatory arenas, and supports their efforts to provide quality, cost-effective and accessible care.

Our Mission

We advance the health of individuals and communities.

Our Vision

Through our leadership and support of hospitals, health systems and the full care continuum, we are committed to achieving better care for individuals, better health for populations and lower per-capita costs.
